My Device: Samsung Galaxy S4
Version Android: 4.2.2
Versions MPE for Windows: 1.84
Versions MPE for Android: 1.0.24
Type of connection: Wi-Fi

MPE very good program and I Donate the author.
Most of the fields Outlook 2003 is synchronized correctly.
But NO synchronization next fields Outlook 2003:

1. BUG-1: "FirstName" and "LastName" (Android: Given name, Family name) (only when the sum of the two fields is not changed)
For example:
I have after sync: "FirstName"=Name & "LastName"=Soname
I change in Outlook: "FirstName"=NameSo & "LastName"=name
I sync, but in Device don't change fields: "FirstName"=Name & "LastName"=Soname

2. BUG-2: "Home2TelephoneNumber" (Android: NoName)
For example:
I have in Outlook: "Home2TelephoneNumber"=1234567
I sync, but Device don't have field: "Home2TelephoneNumber"

3. BUG-3: "OtherAddress" (Android: Other)
For example:
I have in Outlook: "OtherAddress"=MyAdress
I sync, but Device don't have field: "OtherAddress"
Or
I fill the field in Device: "OtherAdress"=OtherAddressNew
I sync, but Outlook don't have new field: "OtherAddress"

4. BUG-4: "PersonalHomePage" (Android: Website)
For example:
I have in Outlook: "PersonalHomePage"=website.com
I sync, but Device don't have field: "PersonalHomePage"
Or
I fill the second field in Device: "website"=website2.com
I sync, but Outlook don't have new field: "website"

Thus, some of my information is lost during synchronization through the MPE.

I think that this error will be using a different version Outlook.

The author can fix this bug?

and My Suggests:

1. Suggest-1: SYNC fields
"Phonetic family name", "Phonetic middle name", "Phonetic given name"
in Outlook with fields
"User1", "User2", "User3"
in Outlook. User settings can choose this option.

2. Suggest-2: in Name of Custom fields of Android ADD Name of this fields of Outlook.
Outlook have additional fields of phones:
- CarTelephoneNumber
- Business2TelephoneNumber
- OtherFaxNumber
- RadioTelephoneNumber
- AssistantTelephoneNumber
- CompanyMainTelephoneNumber
- ISDNNumber
- PrimaryTelephoneNumber
- TelexNumber
- TTYTDDTelephoneNumber
When MPE sync this fields with Android all these phones in Device have type "NoName".
I Suggest for each of these phones have their type:
- Car
- Business2
- OtherFax
- Radio
- Assistant
- Company
- ISDN
- Primary
- Telex
- TTYTDD

2. Suggest-3: SYNC field "NickName" in Outlook with field "Nickname" in Android. User settings can choose this option.

3. Suggest-4: SYNC field "Internet-Call" in Outlook with field "User4" in Outlook. User settings can choose this option.

I don't have the list with me, though using Google will probably turn it up, maybe even on this site, but Android and Outlook do not have equivalents for all their contact fields. If Outlook has a field that Android does not then that field cannot be transferred to your phone. That would not be a 'bug', just something that could not be done.

I would check out the equivalent fields and get back here if there really did seem to be a bug.

I have compiled a table equivalent of fields Outlook 2003 and original (stock) Android 4.2.2 (on Samsung S4) without root.
I also performed the testing of sync with programs: Kies, Android Sync Manager WiFi, MyPhoneExplorer:

Bild

Abbreviations in the table:
BUG-1: NoSync - Look at my post above
BUG-2: NoField - Look at my post above
BUG-3: NoField - Look at my post above
BUG-4: NoField - Look at my post above
BUG-5: NoSeach - New BUG

5. BUG-5: "Title" & "MiddleName" & "Suffix"
(Android: Name prefix, Middle name, Name suffix)

For example:
I have after sync:
...OUTLOOK: "FirstName"=Name & "LastName"=Soname
...ANDROID: "Given name"=Name & "Family name"=Soname
I add fields in OUTLOOK: "Title"=Mis & "MiddleName"=MidName
I sync and Device have new fields:
...ANDROID: "Name prefix"=Mis & "Middle name"=MidName
All Good, but:
I use original (stock) "Contacts" app on my Device
I'm starting to search for contacts containing Mis OR MidName and I find nothing !
If I manualy rewrite in Device fields:
...ANDROID: "Name prefix"=Mis & "Middle name"=MidName
Now I can to search for contacts containing Mis OR MidName and I find contacts containing Mis OR MidName !

I use Outlook field "Title" for SORTING AFTER SEARCH my 1562 Contacts and this very important for me !

The research results have shown (other device work correctly) that it bugs MyPhoneExplorer.

I have programming experience and can help quickly eliminate those bugs.

Great research. OK. I use Rocketdial on my phone for contacts. I can search by 'middle' name and results show up, though I have only one contact entered with a middle name - myself! - and the search results with Rocketdial also show first names that match my search as well. To be expected I suppose.

I can also sort by 'title' (Outlook shows this as 'job title', Android as 'title') but this is 'job title', I can't search on 'title' as applied to each name ('Mr' Joe Bloggs for example, or 'Dr' Smith). However, this is an app specific problem surely? The stock People app on my phone doesn't allow me to search at all. Which Android 'people' app do you use?

field 'Title' in Outlook = field 'Name prefix' in Android.
field 'Profession' in Outlook = field 'Job title' in Android.
See table above

I use original (stock) "Contacts" app on my Device.
And I find contacts containing data in fields 'title' OR "Middle name" if I put this data in Device !
If I put this data in Outlook and Sync via MPE I don't find. This is BUG № 5.
Kies and Android Sync Manager WiFi sync this fields without Problems. See table above.

1. MyPhoneExplorer does compare the joined value "Firstname Lastname". This has compatibility reasons since some Android ROMs do move this field if you try to set f.e. a empty string on first name and not an empty string in last name. I will keep this

2. In the list you say Kies and Android Sync manager does sync this field. Interesting, especially cause there is no matching field in Android. So how do they sync it ?

3 and 4: This is known, its on my task list but there are very seldom requests about this so it has not a high priority for me.

5: Confirmed, thanks for information. The client did not add the Prefix and Suffix to the "DisplayName" field of Android. Will be fixed soon

S 1) The phonetic name fields should not be used to fill them with any stuff. This may match for your addressbook, but probably it would be not good for the rest of the uders

S 2) All those types are synced with the phone correctly. If the phone does show "No Name" then its an issue of the phone, but this number types do exist in Android (http://developer.android.com/reference/ ... Phone.html)

S 3) This is also on my todo list

S 4) as i said already, i will not sync the userfields of Outlook
