Different number of Outlook vs MPE appointments

Hi all,
after syncing MPE against Outlook everything is fine for contacts and tasks but checking the appointments I can see I've 648 items in Outlook but 664 in MPE.
As no any errors showed up while syncing, what could those 16 more in MPE be?
TIA,
Rolando.

Hi Rolando,
do you have different calendars/accounts (i.e. local, Google holidays, etc.)?
Have a look in MPE's (desktop) appointment list view, column "Calendar", if all appointments are from same type that are marked for synchrinzation in MPE-client on your smartphone.
best regards...

If you have for some ruled events in Outlook an exception then MyPhoneExplorer does create a seperate appointment for the exception.

Hi FJ,
I checked what you commented lastly and on both sides (my PC as well as the smartphone) its configured to sync just and only "My Calendar".
I also updated to the latest 1.8.5 version and still see more entries in MPE.
Was even thinking about comparing both databases manually but with +650 entries this could be a killing task.
Any way to "compare" them?
BR,
Rolando.

As i said - probably the diffrence is caused from rule exceptions. Outlook does count a ruled event with an exception as single appointment. MyPhoneExplorer will split them up in two appointments. This is a technical fact, but not a bug.

Hi Fj,
how can I check if have ruled ones or not? And in case yes, how can I get to know what ones they are?
This taking into account I didn't set any exception on the MPE syncing settings at all
Lot's of thanks,
Rolando.

You see them with the rule circle Icon in MyPhoneExplorer (Switch the calendar to list view). Normal appointments with identical subject and/or Body are probably exceptions for the ruled appointment.

I can only see (in the 2nd column) either birthday cakes (for birthdays) or bells (reminder set indication) or a red circular arrow that points to itself (recurrent appointments).
None has a red circle. Or are you speaking about the red circular arrows?

Yes, we are talking about the circular arrow

Yes, we are talking about the circular arrow

The birthday Symbol does also represent a recurrent appointment.

Ok, understood. However, the mystery remains...
Under MPE I have:
Code: Alles auswählen
# entries with birthday cake icon: 9
# entries with red circular arrow icon: 95 (4 of them with the bell icon too)
what means
MPE has 104 recurrent appointments out of 722 total appointments entries.
But
Outlook's events' list view count is 706 and there seems to show only 102 recurrent appointments.
I still can't figure out why their counts are different...

Maybe you did set "Do not Sync this entry in future" for some appointments in the Sync confirmation Dialog.

Nope, I never did so. Is there any way to compare one-by-one the entries in MPE against those in Outlook to check what are the problematic ones?
