Can't send SMS

Hi.

I've only just discovered MyPhoneExplorer and, with one exception, I'm very happy with it.

The exception is in sending SMS messages, which always fail. Why? I don't know – all I see is the red X and the brief sound indicating failure. Is there a Log somewhere?

I wonder if it could be anything to do with the fact that my phone is dual-SIM-capable but only one SIM slot is occupied. I can't see anything in Settings that would make a difference. Dual SIM phones are not at all unusual these days. It is a Medion E4002 running Android 4.1.1.

TIA

MyPhoneExplorer does use standard interfaces of the phone to send messages. Probably your phone does not support this standard interface. Please post the logfile after you tried to send a message.

If one SIM is active and the other isn't, then for MyPhoneExplorer to work with text messages the active SIM must be in slot #1.

With the proliferation of dual SIM phones, it might be an idea to put that in your documentation.

Remote keyboard to replace sim choice

Hello
On my bq aquaris m4.5, I cannot use MyPhoneExplorer to send sms (I don't know why : perhaps a problem with dual sim?).
But I can use MPE remote keyboard to write my sms.
Then, on the phone, I can decide which sim card I use to send it.
