Android 4.4 (KitKat) and 4.3 (Jelly Bean)

I'm preparing to buy a new phone (either 4.4 or 4.3). Are there any phones I should avoid since I'll still need to install and use MPE?

Samsung phones!

Now seriously, buy whatever you want. The MPE is continuously under development and there shouldn´t be any problem that can´t be solved.

Personally I´d recomend the Sony Xperia Z1.

If you have the choice then you should buy a device with Android 4.3
Android 4.4 has some very bad issues in relation with MyPhoneExplorer (no write access to SMS database, no write access to external sd card,...)
