I am using Thunderbird 24.6 and MPE 1.8.6.

I recently found out that there is a handful of my Thunderbird contacts that simply will not sync to my phone (NGM Wemove Legend, Android 4.0.3). I found it the "hard" way, once that I needed to call someone whose contact I have but I could not find it on the phone.

I can't seem to find any common denominator. In my contacts, only a few don't have (at least one) phone number, some have work address, some don't, generally not all fields of work address are filled. The missing contacts do not follow any of these characteristics.

I have tried to erase all contacts from phone and re-sync. After the first sync, all contacts were there, the following day, same situation.

I always use "Force TB to Phone" with "show confirmation for 1 or more changes".

Now that I now it, I always watch sync very carefully, specially when forcing sync after adding a new contact in Thunderbird. Every now and then the new contact will not sync. No apparent reason.

What else can I try?

Are there any Exceptions set in Menu-File-Settings-Sync-Advanced-Exceptions ?

No, no exceptions are set.

In the list of contacts shown in that window, I notice that they all have the thunderbird icon. However, many do not have the small phone icon before the name. These are not present in the contacts on the phone (I checked on the phone). I haven't checked all, because they are really quite a lot - I am appalled!
Furthermore, several contacts appear repeated a number of times, although they are not so in thunderbird.

If they are shown in the exceptionswindow then MPE is basicly able to read them from Thunderbird. It must be a Exception setting, did you enable "Add only contacts with phonennumber" ?

No, that option is explicitly unchecked, since I have several contacts with email only.

Are the missing contacts also missing in the contactlist of MyPhoneExplorer ?
