Change from daylight savings time causes files to sync

I just noticed that my WiFi sync with my Windows 7 PC wants to "modify" all of my audio files and pictures. When I look at the display between the phone and PC versions the only difference I see is a Last Edited Date that's an hour different - exactly.
With over 8 GB of files synced this takes a long time. It occurs in the background so there's not really a problem, but the MPE app on the phone or the PC needs to be made aware that a DST change occurs and to keep the edited time correct.
Is there a way to resolve this within the settings?

Are you using the latest version of MPE ? As temporar solution you could delete the file FileSync.dat in your profile folder.

Here I am, four years later and another 8 full syncs due to two DST changes each year. I can't understand why this hasn't been fixed if it's hitting everyone that lives where DST changes. If it's only me then what's wrong with my setup?
I'm using 1.0.45 on both Android devices and 1.8.8 on Windows.
I'm now using Windows 10 and the issue still occurs. MPE does not realize that the times are different due to DST and now syncs 14 GB of data twice each year.
FJ, you said that deleting the FileSync.dat file is a temporary fix back in 2014. Do I do this after the DST change and before I allow MPE to sync all the files? Are there any side-effects to deleting this file?
If I have to do this twice a year it's much more preferable than wading through two 14 GB needless syncs to two devices. That's 14 x 2 x 2 = 56 GB of needless transfer every year!

I double that too.
Complained about this issue for several years now but nothing is resolved!
Please do something to stop this redundant, double Sync, time & space consuming.

Again I didn't had any problems with DST time here in Italy, again I suggest you to double check that both the time zone on your pc and on your phone are the same!
