Hello

I finally got around to installing 1.8.6 and it doesn't work at all.

The splash screen is displayed and immediately the Windows crash box appears. This is on Windows XP SP3. I am posting my Debug.txt file even though there's a not lot of useful stuff in there....

I'll be happy to help if there are any further tests you would like me to make.

Some more info :

If I Alt-Tab to some other app and come back the splash screen is gone.
MyPhoneExplorer.exe is still in the task list.

The Splash screen is stuck on "Loading interface"; as shown in this screenshot :

... and I forgot one more thing (sorry about this) :

When I installed 1.8.6, I did it over the existing 1.8.5 version.

Maybe I should uninstall 1.8.5 first ? Upgrading that way has always worked for me though. If I do need to uninstall 1.8.5 first, how do I make sure that I don't lose my data? Thanks.

Seems to be a setup issue. Run the setup again with admin permissions. The user data will be not deleted from the setup
