Hi!
I recently found your program and it's really great. I found out that since I last synced my contacts with Google/Gmail it now says 404 not found.
I guess this has to do with Googles updated on their site?

OAuth 1.0 was depricated for 3 years and is now no longer supported

Please migrate MyPhoneExplorer to OAuth 2.0.

MyPhoneExplorer developpers have to change something on their side.

Ok, I figured it would be something complex. Does anyone know tell if there is any work being done to correct this problem?

Yes, this does appear to be a program issue. MPE is not pointing to the correct gmail authentication url. In fact it points to a dead url.
"Error message: Loading entries from Google failed!"
"404 Not Found"

From the above link:
Important: OAuth 1.0 has been officially deprecated as of April 20, 2012 and will stop being supported on May 5, 2015
That was just about the time when MPE gmail sync went down. Go figure.

Does this mark the end of MPE development?

No, why should it?
Please don´t mix up cause and symptom. The MPE was developed long before Android came to live and it adapted whenever it was possible.

Fair enough. In that case, to avoid a sense of false security, in the next release of MPE will we see the Sync GMail option removed?
In other words, if it does not work, please remove it.
