Deleteing Messages

Hi,

I have a new phone running Android 5.1 and all is fine except that I can't delete text messages and get a dialog up saying, "due to security restrictions in Android you have to set MyPhoneExplorer client temporarily as default SMS-App..." This is a pain-in-the-but and quicker just to delete the message on the phone! IS there a fix or better work-around for it?

As it says "... security restrictions in Android ...". Nothing that MPE can do about it.

Odd that really as it can (add and) delete Phone Contacts! Is there a plan to find a work around or is that it? Would be happy to use an MPE based text message app if there were one?
