Used & loved MPE since early SE vn. Worked great on my HTC Android 2.1 but just installed on new Fairphone 2 Android 5.1.
Seemed to connect ok over Wireless & sync'ed calendar, contacts & texts OK.
BUT - although incoming texts are OK, sent texts disappear on both the PC & Mobile though they arrive OK.
The 'Save successful deliveries in "Sent items" box is ticked.
The ‘Send Messages’ progress bar reaches end; status becomes ‘Send successful!’ and ‘Save message…’ appears at the bottom for several seconds but then the box just closes. No sign of text in either “Sent items” on PC or phone but arrives at recipient OK.

Similar problem for me.
I see all my old SMS messages in my phone but they're gone from MPE - not sure what I've done but I'll bet it's user error.
Nothing I've done will resync them. New messages are not being sync'd either.
This app is a key tool for me - day-to-day.
