I'm a bit puzzled on this one, but my Samsung phone is asking me for a password when I try to run MyPhone Explorer. Ive tried various permutations but I'm not getting in - do I need to delete the whole thing and start again?  |

Do you mean the question for a "WLAN-PIN"? This is a free PIN you can set in the MPE client settings on your phone.
In other case you've set a password in MPE desktop and forgot that password?

to be honest I am not sure ...what are the criteria for a password, because Ive tried what i might usually have used and that hasn't worked. Does it have a minimum set of characters for example? thanks for your help by the way |

There are two possible passwords inside MyPhoneExplorer:
1. WiFi password:
This protects your phone to get connected from another machine than yours (running also MyPhoneExplorer).
2. Verify password:
This protects your data inside MyPhoneExplorer on your machine, so nobody else is able to open MyPhoneExplorer offline and see your data.
What kind of window do you see?
