Hi!
First, I must say, this is the best peace of software for mobile phones. I'm using it more than 7 years.
Now I decide to suggest some features that might be useful.
1. Option (in phone client) to do auto backup on SD card (or builtin memory) immediately after call or after sent sms. That would be very useful option for me, because I often flash new custom ROMs (I believe that I'm not the only one) and sometimes Android crashes and I must reinstall it. When that happens sometimes I lost my unsaved sms or some new phone numbers that I didn't save to my phonebook. So it would be nice to add an option to do call log and sms auto backup on SD card or built in memory so it can be restored after ROM reflash.
2. Ability to backup and restore Viber and Whats up chat and call log.
3. Ability to restore just call log and just selected messages from PC back to the phone.

That´s not how MPE works and would need a complete new software programmed.

You´r far from being the majority with that and MPE is considered a software for the Needs of the many, ...

That´s why you sync your stuff before flashing a new ROM.

As for WhatsApp, there is no API for that.

This is possible since the first version of MPE. |

A request :
Smartphones now use to allow a number of signs that can be send in only one message. When writing a message in MPE SMS window on my computer (easier to write with a real keyboard than on my phone. maybe my fingers are too thick Very Happy ), MPE cut it in the old way of limited signs messages and send it in two or three messages trough the phone.
It could be rather cool to fix it and allow MPE SMS interface to write and send SMS without cutting'em.
Thx to think about that.
I'm really impatient to discover the new release.

MPE is fantastic, many thanks.
It would be a great help to have spell check when typing SMS. I think plenty of others have suggested it so maybe it can happen. |

Hello
Currently, MPE doesn't support MMS messages.
At the very least, it'd be useful if it could notify of incoming messages, and ideally, display the pictures + text sent as MMS messages.

For many years there was no API for MMS support. I don´t know if this API has come to Android now but there are so many other things to do and hardly any users asking for MMS support so it´s unlikely that MMS support will come to the MPE. |

That problem came with Android and the MPE can´t do much about it for now.
You can help youself by using a different SMS App like handcent on your phone.
This´ll show the SMS in one piece. |

So I've been facing this issue that I have to correct first/middle/last names as a single full name, and that's tiresome. Please add the option to convert Each part of the names as a unique full name.
And I wanted to manage only contacts with numbers, as emails shows up on Google's account contacts as well, and that bothers me A LOT. So please, in the next update add the option to View only contacts with phone numbers, then the email contacts won't show up.
Additionally...
1. Show quick actions hotkeys when hovering each action button (alt tips - Sync, Download, New etc.)
2. When I click the Group options on each contact, I can't get back (close) to the previous window by pressing Escape. I am forced to click the X button. It's a minimal fix, but just a notice.

I like to have different ringtones for different groups on my phone. Sometimes, if I add more than a few contacts, I forget to update the ringtone for one or more. I can address this in a separate android app - Ringo Pro - but it doesn't really let me know which contacts are missing a special ringtone. Just being able to list contacts by ringtone would let me see which ones need updating.
Of course, a bulk update function would be even better. |

I am not acquainted with the relations between various applications in Android, so please do not consider this post if it is unrealistic.
In the phone I use Business Calendar 2 Pro. For me it would be great if the tasks synced with MPE with Outlook 2013 appeared in Business Calendar, not in MPE Tasks.
Any syncing through Google is excluded. I use MPE because I don't want to share my data with anybody. |

This won´t work. Every calendar app has it´s own way of handling tasks.
There´re just too many of them the be handled by the MPE. Therefore FJ has made his own Task app. |
