CMS Error

Hello
As some other users of this forum, I've got the
CMS ERROR: null - Unknown Error
I used to send SMS without problem when my bq Aquaris phone was running with Android 5.
But since I upgraded to Marshmallow, I've got this issue.
However it may be not the true origin : I not only upgraded to Android 6, I too disabled some applications and permissions.
So I would like to know if MPE has some dependencies in Android. Are there some softwares or processes I don't have to modify at all?

Well, therefore it would be helpful to know what was disabled.
Did you deny the MPE client any permissions?

I didn't deny MPE any permission.
But I tried to stop as many google soft as I could, as I did with Lollipop but maybe I did something bad.
I can cancel all my modifications but I'd rather know which process I don't have to change.

Maybe an other way to ask the same question : for MPE, which items are different between Lollipop and Marshmallow?

after upgrading my acer liquid to android 6 I can't send sms (get this error).
I don't have disabled some applications and permissions.

CMS ERROR: null - Unknown Error

In my experience, the problem "CMS ERROR: null - Unknown Error" appears for 2SIM phones in case if in setting for SIM cards, in section "SMS messages" will set "Ask every time". In case if in section "SMS messages" will set one of SIM cards - the problem "CMS ERROR: null - Unknown Error" does not appear. I have checked this "decision" in my phone several times. And it worked in the way I described.

Thanks!

You're right : I don't have the problem anymore when only one SIM card is authorized for sending messages.
