connection problem, LG Optimus Fuel, Android 4.4

Beitrag von wpong3 »

Greetings --
Very excited to get synchronization working. I've worked through the faq's, etc, and hopefully haven't missed something obvious.
> I have developer mode turned on on my phone
> debugging allowed
> ADB drivers (univeral, the first link) installed on my pc
> Latest MPE downloaded on my PC, and from the market on my phone.
> connected via USB -- I've tried all 3 modes (charge only, file transfer, photo transfer)

But continually get the "no device connected." Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

My specs:
LG Optimus Fuel LGL34C
Android 4.4
Windows 7

Thanks,

- MPE-version MPI 1.8.7
- Windows version: Windows 7
- firmware version: Android 4.4

First ten lines of your logfile (debug.txt):

Problem addressed

Apologies [insert embarrassed shug] --
It turns out the app on my phone was no longer running at the time of my failed connections. Making sure the application on the phone was running prior to connecting addressed the problems.

Excited to be connected! Now will set about learning the usage of the actual program!

Still a problem --
And just now realizing that my phone was connecting via wi-fi, and I can't seem to get the usb cable connection (my desired method) to be made. I've tried all modes of connection (charge-only, file transfer, photo connection). Might be a phone-side issue, but I am updating just in case someone has insight here. Bottom line question:

Anyone else had problems getting the USB connection to be recognized (and any advice)?
