MPE appears to load calendar on phone, but nothing there

I think that my previous problem of calendar entries disappearing was due to the phone syncing with Google. I turned off all syncing on the phone, but was forced to have one calendar. I chose "My calendar, untitled." I made an entry on the phone. It has remained, through all that has followed.
However, I can't load calender entries from MPE onto the phone. The data in MPE is correct. I have set Outlok -> phone. When I rin the sync, the MPE window shows that it's loading appointments onto the phone. But when it's finished, there are no appointments on teh phone. The only appointment on the phone is the one I entered on the phone's keyboard.
I looked at the calendar on the phone, a Galaxy S7, using the Samsung Calendar app and the 3rd path aCalandar app. They show the same, as I thought they should because they use the same database on the phone. I thought that database was "My calendar," but maybe I'm wrong. If I'm wrong, maybe MPE is loading one place and the programs are looking someplace else.

On the phone: MPE settings > calendar to sync. Check this.

I reinstalled the client and went through all the settings, including which calendar to add new events, which local calendar & its color. I'm working again! Laughing
