Problem with screen mirroring and Android 7.0

After upgrading my HTC One M9 to Nougat, Android 7.0 the screen mirroring window stopped to work. The whidow opens the way it should, but it is all black, as if the phone was locked. If I click anywhere in the window the phone reacts. If i lock my phone, the green wake up button works, my phone reacts the way it should, but regardless of what I do, the window is still just black.

There´s one exception. If I check show cursor and then uncheck the box, I see my phone the way I should, but then it remains the same, my phone reacts when I click in the screen mirroring window, but nothing changes, it remains the same way as it was when I unchecked show cursor.

I'm having the exact same issue with HTC M9 Nougat as well.

Same problem on every device with Android 7.x i've tested.

I have similar problem at 6.0.1. Even more when I try to accept call from PC the screen on phone becomes black, only notification area are acessible.

Just updated my Sony Xperia 5 Premium and have the same issue. It's as if the screen being cast is set to FLAG_SECURE like on a banking app.

I've found a workaround that has worked twice for me to the problem when trying to remote control your Android 7.0 device but you only get a blank black screen (even though you can still interact with the phone by guessing where the buttons are)

It's not as snappy as I am used to, there is a bit of a lag in screen updating, but it works.
