v 1.8.8 crashes when downloading SMS from phone

When I receive an SMS with only an emoticon in the message (like someone sends me a smiley face only - no text with it) then, when I try to download the SMS messages to my PC it crashes the program.

Using Windows 10 and Android 6.0.1 on a Note 4 and 1.8.8 on the Windows PC.

It's usually one of the recent messages (since I update frequently) so I just look through the most recent messages and when I find the one which only has the emoticon only in the message, I delete that message and everything works fine.

Not a big deal, just a little pain in the neck.

One other question, is there a plan to download attachments (pictures, etc.) to the PC when they are attached to an SMS message?

I have donated and absolutely love this program. So thank you very much for all the effort you have put into this - I tell all my friends about it.
