I had a corrupt sd card so I swapped it over.
Now I am trying to put my files over by sync and it keeps closing down.
I tried to copy my files over by putting the sd card into my computer but sync wants to delete my files from the computer and still closing down on me. |

Ok, first, let me get one thing straight: There is no need to start multiple threads just if not someone answers your question within five minutes!
There are a bunch of MPE Users here, willing to share their knowledge but you´ll have to wait for an answer.
Now, you described a problem with the photo sync.
In order to help you, you need to describe it in more detail. What exactly did you do and please be precise. |

I Put several empty folders onto my sd card
I then did a multi sync which after a while kept crashing (maybe too many photos)
I then took the card out of my phone and put all my photos into the folders then put it back into the phone.
I then did a sync.
The program added (1) to every photo.
I did another sync and it wanted to delete all my photos from the source so I forced to the phone where it then duplicated everything. I finished up with hundreds of photos.
It just does not seem to obey any rules.
I now have all my photos back on the phone but dare not sync them |

And have you ever checked you sync settings carefully?
Mixing data transfer via MPE and via plain computer is never wise.
I recommend that you first save all your photos onto your computer. Than delete all photos from your phone and after that sync your phone with propper settings.
After these steps you can bring back your photos back to your phone.
Remember, too many files in one sync can crash every software. If you have this problem, maybe it´s time to clean the house.
And whatever you do, don´t be hasty. Read carefully and check every setting properly. |

So you are saying sync the photos onto an empty phone.
Don't I have to put empty folders on the phone to enable the sync to work?
I have read and Re read the settings but none seem to work as stipulated.
I use sync both ways
I have used this for 5 YEARS before uninstall |

I think I may have figured it out
first sync pc to phone then second sync both directions.
Question? I am getting a new sd card what is the best way to transfer all files.
Do I need to start again by putting on the empty folders as its a lot of work this way |

Just so that others may find this helpful.
I was having multiple problems with sync after years with no problems, too many to mention.
Unbelievably somebody from another forum helped me tremendously.
I had two corrupt sd cards and buying a new3 one and putting all my corresponding folders on the card the sync from computer to pc was seamless.
I then changed sync to both ways and now all is working again as it should.
one more thing we need a setup manual
cheers great program hope this helps |
