Disconnections

Hi,

I have searched the forum for an answer but can't find any relevant.

I am on the latest MPE 1.8.8 and all seems to be working fine except for a disconnect issue. After a certain time period, not sure how long, the phone disconnects from MPE. Doing a 'Connect' and it reconnects fine.

Is there are setting that can keep the connective alive?

I sync 14 GB of data between two Android devices (tablet & Galaxy S4) and Windows 10. I've been doing this for over five years. Although MPE is not a good neighbour app (it frequently shows as Not Responding; after displaying a cryptic DB error it keeps repeating the same error over and over, which sometimes requires Task Manager to kill it; as well as never running in the background and always intruding into my activity when its window opens and then becomes unresponsive for a few seconds as I try to minimize & get back to work), recently it has just been quitting the Android client in the middle of a sync file job.

This, coupled with MPE's inability to realize that Daylight Savings Time just switched and it doesn't need to sync all 14 GB of data one way, has made completing this huge sync virtually impossible. A two hour sync will terminate silently at random times - 30, 60, 90 minutes in. Never immediately.

Sadly no help from MPE which is disappointing. If there are any ADMINs online that can be bothered, I would appreciate a reply to this considering how old the post is now. Thanks.
