Hey guys,

Just before formatting my Galaxy Grand Prime, I synchronised everything with MyPhoneExplorer. And after the format, while the phone was connected through the USB and while the contacts tab was open, I clicked on the "download entire" button, next to the sync button on top - with the purpose of downloading all the contacts from the computer to the phone - however within less than a second, all the contacts disappeared without any warning!! I understood that what had happened was the other way around...that it had downloaded from the phone towards the pc!!!

Now is there anyway to undo what had just happened? There are many important contacts there. I haven't closed the window of MyPhoneExplorer hoping for a way to recover the contacts.

The logs and the messages are all intact, and the names of the contacts still appear correctly there, which gives me partially hope that I can still recover the contacts. Moreover I had copied the entire contents of the phone to the desktop, so may be there is a file somewhere there with the list of the contacts in them? The contacts were registered to the device.

I would be extremely grateful if you could help me recover them.

If you sync with outlook, take a look at the deleted items in outlook.

If the function MPE => F2 => Sync => Create synclogs is activated, you can import the sync by importing the last Synclog JJJJ-MM-DD h-mm-ss.html
bring back.
