Hi,

I've tried searching the forum but I've not been able to retrieve any messages to do with my phone model.

- Model of your phone - Samsung SGH-D880 (Duos)
- Type of connection - Bluetooth
- MPE-version - 1.9.0 and 1.9.0 nightly 3/17/2022 5:28:12 PM
- Windows version - Windows 10
- firmware version - can't determine
- Android version - Not Applicable
- phone's software number - can't determine

I'm trying to get MPE to connect to my SGH-D880. It does see the phone when I try to connect over Bluetooth, as it is already paired within Windows 10. The prompt "Serial connect with COMPUTERNAME?" appears on the phone to accept the incoming connection. I accept the incoming connection. MPE continues to move the progress bar to the right and switches its status message to "Initializing connection". It continues the attempt at connecting for a few seconds then returns a message saying it is unable to connect.

I have no idea how to debug this to see what fails.

Can anyone assist me please?

Thanks.

In my opinion, the SGH-D880 does not run Android. Thus, the phone is not supported by MPE either.

As bemanet says, this phone does not run Android and thus MPE cannot work with it. The phone was announced before the first public 'beta' of Android was even available. You will need to look at Samsung's own tools.

Thanks

Thanks dvhttn and bemanet! Sorry for the delay. I've been away for some time.
