Sync only events in the future:does this option work ?

My phone is a Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite
Connection = USB
MPE-version = 1.9.0
Windows 11

I'm trying to synchronize my Outook calendar and my Android calendar on my new phone. I have selected the "Syns only events in the future" option of the settings. But when I start synchronization, more than 3000 past events coming from my phone are displayed in the confirmation window. Obviously I don't want to unselect one by one the 3000 synchronization question. Is there a solution so that this option does work in my case ?

No, the restriction 'Syns only events in the future' only affects the synchronization of Outlook > phone.

Thank you for this information. So I guess there is no way currently to filter events in the Phone -> Outlook synchro ?

Workaround:
In order not to always have to synchronize all appointments, you should move appointments from previous years to a separate Outlook calendar.

- Synchronize all 3000 appointments with Outlook
- Create a new calendar with the name "Old" in Outlook and move all appointments from previous years into it
- Sync: All old appointments are deleted in the mobile phone

That's a good idea. The point is: I don't want old appointments to be deleted from my phone, I want to keep them in my phone (but not in Outlook). I only want them not to be synchronized. Any idea ?

- Create a local calendar storage in the mobile phone e.g. 'Old'
(Mobile phone => MPE client => Settings => Manage local calendars)
- MPE = Calendar => Blue Arrow (Download entire)
Copy the old appointments there using MPE Export / Import
- In the default calendar storage, mark all old appointments for deletion
- Sync => Confirmation window > => cancel
- Deactivate under mobile phone => MPE-Client => Settings => Calendars to be synchronized the new calendar
- Sync

Hello. I think it should work. I'm sorry but I managed only to do the export of the old appointments, but not the import in the newly created calendar. Could you explain how to do that please ? Regards.
