Deleted messages and how to delete messages problems

Great app, have been using for many years and contributed from Paypal. Great job folks!

I'm having two problems with the Messages function:

1) Main problem, there is no way to delete messages in the message area. Guess it is kind of a feature request, but seems to be a really basic function that is missing.

Understand if there is a problem/difficulty coordinating deletes with the phone, so that leads to the next problem.

But the bigger problem is #2, even deleting messages on my phone, they still remain in MyPhoneExplorer.

2) Even when I've deleted messages on my phone. Synchronize the messages that are deleted on the phone are still in the Messages in MyPhoneExplorer.

I'm getting a lot of spam lately, delete these messages, but they persist in MyPhoneExplorer messages.

Please help, I'm getting a lot of spam now and this is becoming quite a problem for me.

Wow, I really didn't want to do that because it takes a very, very long time with my phone, there is a lot of history, so it is several minutes to 'Download'. However, yes, that does finally get rid of deleted messages.

So I have to wait several minutes every time I delete a spam conversation to keep MyPhoneExplorer messages synced up with my phome? There is no other way to do this?

Sorry, that isn't usable, I'll just stop using the app for messages as having to wait several minutes everytime I delete a spam text is not usable.

I'd like to disable messages in MyPhoneExplorer, because having to wait many minutes for download everytime I delete a spam text is completely unusable for me.

How do I totally disable the messages portion of the application in MyPhoneExplorer?

By not using the blue arrow or the sync button and deactivating Refresh message folders under MPE => F2 => Multi-Sync

Deletions should be also detected with a normal sync (1st button in the toolbar) which should be very fast

No, they are not as I stated in my first post. Deleted message on the phone still remain in MyPhoneExplorer Messages when you do a Synchronization. That would be ideal and is how I would expect Synchronization to work as you are "Synchronizing" the phone with MyPhoneExplorer, but for what ever reason, the messages that are deleted on the phone still remain.

A possibility for this problem is that the Synchronization may only work for a certain period of the messages. But, as an example, I had a message on April 8th I deleted, but it still showed up in MyPhoneExplorer even after I had deleted it and Synchronized a number of times in the last few days. Synchronization only seems to Synchronize new messages, but MyPhoneExplorer either doesn't delete the messages or the deletion is not communicated to MyPhoneExplorer.

Synchronization clearing deleted messages is how I expect MyPhoneExplorer to work. Deleted messages should be eliminated in MyPhoneExplorer when a Synchronization is performed and that is why I posted the problem.

Just tried the procedure and it worked.Are you able to reproduce the issue every time?

Went about my weekly clean up and this week it worked, It has been a number of weeks where deleted messages remained in MyPhoneExplorer.

The only thing that is different is that I had performed a "Download" as you recommended, that took a very long time, but now after doing that, resync now seems to work.

This may not get posted as a response to the original message as the web button "Reply" took me to what looks like a "new" posting form.

I tried it a few times and did a refresh, but the reply button still only took me to what looks like a new posting form.

Hello

I have the same problem :
A few messages that are deleted on phone and NOT deleted in MPE.

I tried the blue down arrow and the sync button and the multi synch but, no way, "ghost" messages are still there ! ( one is from 2021 !).

I also tried to "export" them, and sync again, no result.

I just noticed that these "ghost" messages are sent messages and no received ones...

Do you have an other idea ? Can you help me please ?
