"The SMS storage could not be set in phone" sms er

Hi,
I had no problems using MyPhoneExplorer with my K850i before but since yesterday I can't seem to send an sms anymore. It keeps on giving me the error: "The SMS storage could not be set in phone"

Any idea of what might have changed and how to fix this issue???

Reastart the phone (take out the battery for 2 minutes) - mostly this helps

Thanx for the reply but ...
nope, turned it off (battery out) for about 10 minutes but no change ...
Still can't send sms (sms via phone itself works) - any other suggestions other than breaking the !@#$ phone and claiming from insurance?

The funny thing is - that is EXACTLY what I did!
I will try again and check if there is anything special in there before I post (my german is a bid rusted though Wink

)

I saw my 1'st post (yesterday) did not have the error message included, so I edited the post and included the log with the error included but it seems I either did not apply the edited text or something ... sorry about the confusion!!!

The phone quits the request with a simple ERROR and no further information why the error happens. Are you able to access the SMS wirth other Tools like FMA ?

Tried the Sony Ericsson software - also seems to fail for some reason? Bugger!!!

Must be some setting on the phone then? Any ideas whatsoever ?

The next thing i would try is a software-upgrade with SEUS.

mmm... latest firmware version is R1EA037 (Got that on my phone) - funny thing is it used to work but just suddenly stopped working! Maybe I changed a setting on the phone or something? I can't think of anything but I'll go and check.

If I find the solution I'll post the it here in case anybody else ever has the same issue ...
