I know a few people have posted about Google Calendar sync problems, but it is difficult to be specific, especially when you have a large number of appointments.
I am having problems, and I can be specific about a couple of things that I noticed today. I have an event that I added to my phone earlier this week for tonight at 6.30 for 4 hours. I have sync'd, but this event has not been added to Google. It is still in the phone, though.
Some time ago (perhaps a month or two) I added an 'all day event' for both days this weekend. It existed in both my phone and Google as 'DR'. I edited the event in my phone to call it 'Wintel' the other day. While syncing today, I noticed MPE immediately changes this event to 'Wintel', but once it syncs with Google it changes back to 'DR'. At the next sync, MPE updates the phone calendar to rename the event 'DR'.
For some reason, MPE must be reading Google as the newer event. I have unticked 'compare only edited events (faster)' and there is no change to the bahaviour.
Sorry for the long post, just thought it was worth adding some detail!

Bump
I really would like some help with this now, as I've noticed entries are being deleted from MPE & the phone when synchronising with Google. It mostly seems to be birthdays, but other events are disappearing, too. I would not expect an event that has been added to the phone to be deleted because it it not there in Google - I would expect it to be added to Google!
Help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the response. I have installed the beta and I am using the 'show summary of changes' option, so I can override the defaults. For many of tha appointments, the default option is to 'delete from phone'. I cannot go through the whole lot to see what it's doing, so I change the option to 'create new entry in google'. I've just looked at google, and I now have 4 entries for lots of events!
Is there a 'delete duplicates' option somewhere? If not, can we have one, please?
Thanks again.
