Sent messages are not listed according to recieving time

After I sync sms in my sent folder, these messages get copied in myphoneexplorer sent list but they are not listed according to the time and date recevied. Under the Time column I just see "No Indication" for all messages. Please suggest how to resolve this issue with this sw, I cannot track my old sms in myphoneexplorer sw when required. Thanx in advance.

Thanks Peter for showing the link :D

But this post was last edited by Mr. Deauville on Thu Jul 05, 2007 08:18. I am pretty much sure MyPhoneExplorer development team should have found some way out for this issue.

Can some one from proper support team comment on this ?

That's not a problem of MPE,it's a problem of the phones. So the MPE development team can't find some way out for this issue ;)

Dear eilswap,

A simple search in the forums on for example "date time sent sms" will present you with lots of posts that ask the same question. And if you look at the answers, all of them point to the same FAQ, regardless who has answered. Since this is one of the most asked for features, the reason for not updating the FAQ is that it´s currently simply not possible to solve the problem, due to the phone not supplying the info needed. However, since a couple of versions back you have the option of entering that information yourself.

Take care... :)

I read the FAQ and undestood that you cannot read the sent sms timestamp using the AT commands, but... talking about UIQ3 phones, I know that there is a program (of course you know what software I'm pointing to) that can read them because there is the need to install on the phone its specific .SIS application.
My answer is: how much difficult would be write a UIQ3 application in order to use it as a "bridge" between your software and the more powerful/detailed API accessible by a phone application?

By the way, I want to thank you because your software is what I've been looking for years: instead of others, it lets me delete the sms I want without doing it directly on the phone.

For someone like me who never developed apps for other devices than a PC its VERY difficult to develop such a bridge. Your idea could be a solution (i also thought about this) but i have no time to learn all the basics about Symbiandevelopment.

I tryed some years ago to write a basic phone (not UIQ3) application... I'll try to write a UIQ3 application that could read the sms folders, and if I'll get some result you will be the first I'll tell
