Asian languages do not work for SMS

There appears to be a bug in MyPhoneExplorer when non-ASCII text is sent with the SMS feature.
If I receive an SMS written in Chinese, I can transfer it to my laptop with MyPhoneExplorer and the Chinese characters are displayed correctly. However, if I try to send an SMS with Chinese characters, all of the characters are converted to "???????" when the SMS arrives at the phone.

In general i have to tell you that there is very limited support for PCs which work in DBCS-Mode. But SMS-Sending should work. It was a bug which is fixed in the current
beta.

Yes I did.
Well... hope this will be resolved in the upcoming release.
Thanks for the great job in providing the software.

The data (contacts & sms) in the phone still keeping original, but once transfered and displayed on the screen, all chinese characters turn to "?" sign.
Both version 1.6.7 & 1.7.0 of MPE still having the problem.
FJ, is there possible to include the needed codes for the display?

As i told very often: MPE is not fully unicode compatible. It can display special characters if the right codepage is set on the PC but if you would set the chinese Codepage then you'll get many other problems (cause DBCS-Mode)
