Hi,
I’m using MPE 1.7.0 on Vista SP1 to sync my SEK750i with Outlook 2007.
I never had any problem, until I began using 2 pst-files:
1) One pst-file contains calendar items. The file is called “Maarten en Martine.pst”
2) The other one contains all remaining objects like contacts and tasks. This file is called “Maarten.pst”
I started from scratch, i.e. not from and existing MPE-folder with dat-files. All tasks, appointments and contacts were erased on the phone as well.
I made a BT connection with the phone and entered the following sync options in MPE:
1) Contacts with Maarten\Contacts
2) Appointments with Maarten en Martine\Agenda
3) Tasks with Maarten\Tasks
I then started multi sync: contacts and tasks were ok, but the appointments do not appear in the sync window (although the option was checked for multisync)
I then restarted MPE and unchecked the “sync tasks” checkbox in “options – synchronization – calendar – advanced”. I started multi sync and the appointments appear in the sync window.
Finally, I quitted MPE and added an appointment in Outlook. I closed outlook and started MPE -> multi sync. The sync window proposes to delete all appointments in the phone and doesn’t show the new appointment in Outlook.
This behavior is reproducible. I never had it as long as I used only 1 pst file. So, there seems to be an issue with syncing Appointments and Tasks from 2 different pst files. Maybe someone can help me? |

MPE does not care about pst-Files. MyPhoneExplorer just accesses Outlook-Folders throught the ActieX-Interface and it just enumerates the entrys. there is nothing which could be done in another way - the only thing: please check if you have disabled "Compare only edited items" in the advanced settings. |

Additional information: this problem does not occur if (multi-)sync is started from the Outlook menu bar. |

Häh ? Absolutly impossible. The Outlook-Addin does a normal commandline-action.
Could it be that the problem appears only if Outlook is NOT startet ? |

After some weeks of testing, i can confirm you're right.
If i start multi-sync from within Outlook, then sync is ok.
If i start multi-sync from within MPE while outlook is not started, all appointments will be erased in the phone.
Does someone have an idea why? |

Hmm - in the list i see no known problematic addin. Could you try anyway to deactivate one-by-one addin to see if its raised from a addin ? |
