G700, WinXP SP2, PC Suite 1.5.26, MPE 1.7.2

Sync could not be initialized - 2147467263 The requested device does not support this operation.

This message occurs at attempt of synchronization of the telephone book. At first with synchronization of problems was not. Now synchronization does not work.

Does the sync with the PCSuite work?
Do you sync the phonebook only with MPE or also with other programs?

Acutally we have a long german thread in the forum but we couldn't really figure the problem out.

How do you connect? Bluetooth or USB?
It seems that special signs in calendar or in the phonebook can raise this problem.
Can you test it on another PC?

Only MPE. I change the list. Synchronization the first time - OK. I change in MPE the list further. Synchronization of second time - OK. I change in MPE the telephone list still. Synchronization in third times - failure, "Sync could not be initialized - 2147467263". After that always - 2147467263.

Yesterday there was also - at first telephone book is perfectly edited. Then suddenly infinite - Sync could not be initialized. Uninstall - PC suite, MPE. Install PC Suite, MPE. Further after several working synchronization - Sync could not be initialized.

Yes. In PCsuite sync, backup, file manager successfully work.

In MPE: Sync could not be initialized - 2147467263 The requested device does not support this operation.

sync notes (notes is empty)- failed

Test on the other computer. Without changes. With PCSuite all without problems works, with MPE - Sync could not be initialized - 2147467263 The requested device does not support this operation.

Hmm - this is strange. In this case does the PC-Suite normally also not work. But there is nothing which could be changed in MyPhoneExplorer cause MyPhoneExplorer calls the SymbianConnect Library and this Library rejects the error.

I had the same problem. I have removed and installed sony ericsson drivers again. I use MPE 1.7.0. I don't have any problem now.
My phone is a G700 and I have Windows XP SP3.

Worked on two computers. At a problem of synchronization in MPE with PCSuite it is impossible to work. It is necessary to execute reconnect USB, after that the synchronization in PCSuite works.

The installation MPE always at me is incorrect:

This problem only synchronization through USB? Through bluetooth the synchronization in MPE will be correct to work?

I don't think that it will work through Bluetooth, but you can try it. Please note that Bluetoothconnection is officially not supported from MyPhoneExplorer for Symbianphones caus eits sometimes hard to setup. But anyway you can try it.

Has installed MPE 1.7.1 - two days synchronization perfectly works. With current 1.7.2 synchronization at me do not work.

But there were no changes in sync between v1.7.1 and 1.7.2 . Are you sure it has to do with the version ? If you install now v1.7.2 - does it still not work ?

Very strange, there were absoluly no changes in this codeblock. Give some time, i'll try to reproduce it...

I do not know what to do. Now once I have received a error of synchronization 2147467263 and on the version 1.7.1. Up to this case and after that the synchronization 1.7.1 works, after one failure works.

As i thought - it has nothing to do with the version of MyPhoneExplorer. Its hard to give you tipops how to fix, cause i could not reproduce this problem.
