Issue syncing Thunderbird ant W910i

Hi

I am using Windows Vista, Thunderbird v2.0.0.21 and MyPhoneExplorer v1.5.9

The issue that i am having is that when i enter a birtday in my phone, the sync between the two programs and my phone breaks the recuring appointment meaning that i only have the appointment once in my calendar. What i want to do is set a birthday in the year that person was born and then have it recur every year after so that i never miss a birthday.

The other issue that i have is that MPE and Thunderbird never seem to sync correctly. If i went to MPE now i could sync 10 times and each time there would be a request to change something on the calendar....any ideas as i am very close to going back to Outlook because of this issue.

The phone has problems to save Birthdays before 1970 -> move those events later then 1970.

Cause the second issue: How many items get synced again and again ?

most of the birthdays that i have in the phone are post 1970, so that is not the issue.

2nd: It depends, sometimes i can have up to 20 or 30. It appears that the phone will sync and it will have the same appointment on thunderbird and my phone by MPE is not happy until you finally select the item on Thuderbird as the 'master' then it doesn't appear on the list to sync again.

I've got the same problem here - i am using MPE 1.7.3 to sync with Rainlendar 2.5 b72.
It usually wants to sync things that are already synced as you can see on the image below. The events are the same. And they were synced some time ago.

What is the problem?
