Hi,At first I must say thanks for this nice program.
but I have a problem:I was using the program (Version 1.7.1) and was synchronizing my contact then something happend with my PC I cant remember it clearly but I think it hanged or the power went off;after that sometimes that I want access my contacts this message appears : "Locked by another application.Cannot access contact now." Though after a restart (turn off/on) I can open my contact but yet I cant have all of my contacts and there is a problem with the last item that if I click on it the phone gets nasty and suddenly the LCD becomes off for seconds and then it backs me to the main menu!!, and it is really annoying since I cant call anybody in this situation except those numbers in my "calls" menu.
please help me with this problem.

Infos:
I have a "K800 i" / I used "USB" connection / MPE version: 1.7.1 /Windows version : WinXP-SP2.

Thanks In Advance.

Choose in the phone:
Menu-Contacts-More-Advanced-Backup to M.S. and then "Restore from M.S.

All contacts will be recreated and i think it will fix your problem.

Hi,I did so but there comes an Error message which says: "Backup failed".

What Should be done now?

Does flashing or something like that solve the problem?

Thanks for your reply and help.

A Master-reset would probably also help, but then you'll loose all private data from the phone.

Try first my second idea:
- create a backup of the phonebook with MyPhoneExplorer (Menu-Extras-Create backup)
- for a second backup (there can be never enought backups ;-)) select all contacts in MPE and export them as vCard
- the restore the backup you made.

If you restore the phonebook then MPE does delete the whole phonebook in the phone with one command, then the backped contacts are uploaded. This should fix all corrupt contacts.

It is not possible since the MPE either cant access the contacts ( only contacts) in this situation.
javascript:emoticon(':)') However I Tomcated it and the problem was solved in this way: as you told I tried to "Backup to M.S." and I noticed that (from the notification alert appeared) there must be a previous backup in the phone so I dared and deleted all the contacts and then I selected "Restore from M.S." and in just some seconds it restored all the contacs and the problem solved.

Hope this could help anyone with the probable same problem and thank you any way.
