Sync events in a given time range.

First question I have just posted here:

but I discovered next problem.
It is allowed to sync only 999 days ahead (and 999 days before)

Why is it only 999? It is only 2 years.
Is there any trick I could synchronize older events and those far after 2 years?

I think its enought. This feature was made to prevent the phone from too much data - many phones can hold only 300 appointments. If you don't need the filter you can disable it.
