Relative paths to ThunderbirdPortable version

Hi,

MPE handles relative paths to the audio alerts for incoming call and messages pretty well.

However, when I edit the general.ini file to set a relative path to my ThunderbirdPortable installation, MPE seems to not detect it and may crash.

It works fine when I have G:\ThunderbirdPortable but as I use a portable harddrive the drive letter will of course change depending on the computer I use it on, therefore the relative path is a necessity.

Can this be addressed?

Thanks and regards,
Allan.

Did you install the portable Version of MyPhoneExplorer ?

Yes I did. Everything works quite well except for that one issue. I can recreate it each time but putting in or removing the G: in the path.

MPE does autodetect the correct path if MPE is installed at the same drive as ThunderbirdPortable. The general.ini-Setting is only a "last chance" - normally it gets autodetected everytime when its needed.

f.e.:
Thunderbird is located at G:\ThunderbirdPortable\ThunderbirdPortable.exe
MyPhoneExplorer is located at G:\MyPhoneExplorer portable\MyphoneExplorer portable.exe

In this case MPE will detect Thudnerbird in any case - also if the drivletter changes.

Sorry I took so long to reply.

Whenever I plug in my external drive into the USB port the drive is always assigned to G: so right now I cannot test if it works properly if the drive is given another letter like H:.

I'll let you know, but everything works really really well. Thanks.
