Yup! Same experience here.

I just upgraded to Thunderbird 78.10.2 (32-bit). I then upgraded the MyPhoneExplorer Add-on to 30.0.12. Contact Sync no longer works, failing with the same message reported by smokindog.

I'm running Version 1.8.15 of MPE on Windows 7 64-bit.

I recently upgraded to MPE 1.8.15 (from MPE 1.8.12). Now, whenever I sync Contacts with Thunderbird, synchronization proceeds OK, but while it's going on, MPE brings up a second instance of itself on top of the running instance. The new instance is unable to do anything, apparently ...

Has this defect been fixed in Version 8.1.12? I'm reluctant to install any updates until I know it has.

I have checked with the latest version 1.8.11
I also checked to see if there was a newer version of
the SeaMonkey MPE extention, there was no update
The same problem exists
I even used Revo Uninstaller to perform a clean
uninstall of MPE 1.8.9 before hand before installing
Makes 0 difference ...

Is this receiving any attention? Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I restored MPE version 1.8.8, and everything works well with that version.

The Seamonkey extension is still at 2.0.20, which implies that the problem is not with the extension.

I just upgraded from 1.8.8 to 1.8.9. When I synchronized Phone contacts with my Seamonkey contacts, a screen popped up in MPE saying "The MyPhoneExplorer-Extension is either not installed or is too old. Install the newest plugin now?" I selected OK and was instructed to close Seamonkey, which I did ...

Well, at least I know what to look for in case this (or something like it) happens again.

Your issue has nothing to do with the client app.

Please check if you are able to open the advanced sync settings dialog for seamonkey in MyPhoneExplorer. If this works then just enter the dialog so the settings will be confirmed. Then try again. If it still fails then check the error console of ...
