I've been using the Beta to sync Outlook 2013 32-bit with 2 devices. It has been working out well.

Part of why MS Outlook 2013 64 bit is inherintly more secure, is because it does not allow any plugins. So nothing, from MPE to Antivirus, nothing can plug into it. So you won't have 3rd party sync, or anitvirus, or anything else 3rd party that would plug into MS Office either when using Office 2013 ...

Embarassing really, I restarted my router and then then both sort worked - meaning the xp10 mp works but my tablet did not. This is a rockchip 2818 based model with a custom Froyo (2.2) firmware (m)

Any chance of getting mpe to recognise that firmware - can Ijust give you the name from the setup ...

I've updated the Android ROM on my HD2 to a Nexus One Gingerbread build, customized for the HD2. I am now able to WiFi sync, even without specifying the device IP .

I've found this issue is definetely in my device, well the ROM it uses. I'm running a Nexus One Froyo Android build on an HTC HD2. So it's a customerized ROM build. Although it is a Nexus One ASOP ROM, it had to be tweaked for the HTC HD2.

I've given PAW-Server a try today. I've never used it before. I downloaded, installed and started it. It then told me to open "http://192.168.2.10:8080/" in my web browser. I tried to open that URL from my PC and could not connect.

Thats strange. Just to eliminate misunderstandings: Did you start MyPhoneExplorer Client on phone before you wanted to connect ?

In this case i don't think its a problem of timeout. Are you able to ping your phone from PC ?

I've tried to ping the phone tonight which is using IP 192.168.2.10, from my PC which is using IP 192.168.2.6. The results are below.

There are also many apps which do the way as MyPhoneExplorer (f.e. PAW server). Please tell me some details about your network structure, how much hardware is between your phone and your PC ? Maybe i have to increase the connect-timeout. Its currently set to 500ms

So in the new MyPhoneExplorer 1.8.1, I've tried the WiFi sync option where an IP address can be specified and it has not helped me. When I try WiFi sync either via specifying the IP of the device or not, WiFi sync still fails and MPE on the desktop cannot find my device.

I'm using Outlook 2010 32-bit and have noticed some instability since starting to use MPE 1.8, but nothing too troublesome. The benefits of the app have so far outweighed the occasional lock ups of Outlook.

I'm syincing via USB, are you syncing via USB also? I wonder if syncing via WiFi versus ...
