FJ, I was waiting for an answer too, anyway I tried the beta version.
It seemed not working too.
It took 4 hours to synch my calendar (even if I set it to synch only 10 days!!!) but now it seems ok. ...

Hello, I have a problem to synch a Samsung Galaxy s2 and Outlook 2003.
I can synch quite well the contacts and the notes, but it stops halfway synching calendar.

my log is

Programmversion: 1.8. ...
