I have MPE2.0 installed, but I can't upgrade my Outlook 2010 for now because of different software I use with it.

I'm afraid some of the software I use aren't possible to update.
If this is the source of the problem, I'll have to revert to old MPE versions
(find one that works properly).

I can take that as workaround for syncing photos but imho supporting other directories in DCIM should work

I use Outlook 2010 and email addresses are present and correct in OL and in my contacts app on the phone.

have you tried creating new contact in outlook and syncing to the phone?
