Hi
I discovered the software yesterday and it is really great. I do have one problem.
I use the Provider extension to Thunderbird to sync my Lightning calendar on Thunderbird with Google Calenders. This works great and is bidirectional. The problem is that I cannot get MyPhoneExplorer to sync the calendar on my W810i with the network calendar on Thunderbird in order to sync it with Google Calendars. It syncs with my desktop calendar, but the moment that I include the calendar that is linked to Google, I get the error message "Loading entries from Thunderbird failed."
Could you please help on this one?

Maybe the download of the calendar takes longer than ten seconds. |

Hi Franz,
I just tested this. Timeout is not the problem; MPE fails to set the (really LONG) CALID string of the google calendar in the registry as ChosenCalendar! This should be easy to fix... |

Hmm, or maybe that isn't the problem at all... I forgot that you set the key only directly before syncing...
@francoisdp: If you are using the original Thunderbid Myphoneexplorer-Addin delivered with 1.5.9, it is probably too old. Please install this version in Thunderbird and try again: http://www.pueschel.net/mpe/mpe-addin.xpi |

I did not use the plugin. I simply used MPE straight up with Thunderbird and the Provider plugin. I will quickly try it and let you know.

OK, then maybe it still is a problem with MPE itself; I will try with my google calendar and check it out. (Please be patient, it will probably take until tomorrow till I find the time.) |

No problem. I am only starting to use the setup and would have expected some teething problems. By the way, I forgot to mention that the Provider plugin only works with Thunderbird version 2 or higher, so I am using version 2.0.0.0 (20070326). |

OK, Google Calendar works fine for me. That means that you are probably stumbling over a bug in MPE 1.5.9 that has been fixed in the Beta release I am using. One of the known bugs in 1.5.9 is selecting more that one Lightning Calendar for Synchronisation. |

I experienced a similar problem. However, I just sync MPE with Google Calendar. Since my Lightning calendar is synchronised automatically via the "Google Calendar Provider" plug-in my organizer is available in thunderbird as well.
Works great for me! |
