I have MPE version 1.87 and, due to the way MPE works, I have been obliged to set up a separate User name for each of my devices. Since each device needs the identical information, I would much prefer if I could set up a single database on MPE that can update all my devices. It's proving a nightmare having to operate with a separate User name for each device and having to update each user name with identical information.
Is there some way I can set up MPE to work with a single database that updates all my devices?
I've also got another problem in that if ever I discontinue using a particular device I can find no way of removing the now redundant associated User name. Is there some way of removing User names from MPE? |

I am having a similar problem.
My husband has a samsung and I have a Sony.
We both have MPE set up on seperate computers but every day when sync starts phone is not found and I find it has added another phone eg my computer adds his phone.
How can I get it to stop this? |

Hi,
@maid
- Install please MPE 1.8.7 nightly
- MPE => F2 => Sync => Contacts => Sync with => Interne Sync-Datenbank
- Sync phone-1 > Sync-Datenbank
- Sync phone-2 <> Sync-Datenbank
- Sync phone-1 <> Sync Datenbank
@krappenessen
- Please set in your phone's a fixed IP-Address (settings => connections => Wlan => [Wlan name] => Edit => static ...)
- MPE => F2 => Connection => fixed IP-Address
Best regards

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Meanwhile I have redundant User names I want to remove. The system allows me to add new Users but strangely doesn't seem to have any way of removing ones no longer wanted. |

- MPE => View => User activate
- Sidebar => User => [User name] select => Context menu [User name] => Delete User |

Unfortunately in order to access the User name that I want to delete, it wants me to supply a PIN for the device. I no longer have the device to attach to MPE although I do remember the PIN. However, it keeps telling me I have entered the wrong PIN. Consequently the sidebar only displays the Connect Wifi, USB cable menu options. The Change name / password menu items do not appear for this device. So I'm still unable to remove that device from MPE. |

- MPE close
- Windows-Key+R (Run Dialog) -> type in %appdata% and press OK. Now you should see the folder "MyPhoneExplorer"
- Foreign subfolder rename, for example Phonename [IMEI-number] => [b]Phonename [IMEI-number].old (later you can delete it) |
