Hi,
I synchronize my Huawei 20 lite with MPE.
Always from outlook 2016 - Huawei (because i don't trust MPE yet)
Although I don't change anything in my contacts (maybe 1 or 2), I regularly get :
- message "deleting 300 contacts",
- contacts with no name or number are made on the phone
- unchanged contacts seem to need an update.
If i accept those changes, let the complete synchronization go, and synchronize again, there are once again contacts that need to be changed.
Why?
And a second thing : I notice that some contacts from outlook 2016 are merged on my phone. They have the same name, but should stay separated. Why does MPE merge them?
why can"'t contacts be synchronized + unwanted merge

After update to version 1.8.11 the problem of synchronizing (between cellphone and outlook 2016) that I first reported stays
- unchanged contacts who need synchronisation (most of those contacts only have a phonenumber)
- Contacts with large remarks (about 1000 Characters) need resynchronisation
Is there an explanation for this

Contacts with large Notes field
I am using Outlook 2016 and synchronize with Huawei P20 lite.
If the Notes field in Outlook contains more than 2'000 characters, the field is truncated and thus incomplete on the Huawei P20 lite.
I have been doing exacly the same with a Samsung Galaxy A3, there it works perfectly - no truncation, the Notes field in its full length is syncronized to the phone.
I contacted Huawei and reported the issue (I need more than 2'000 characters in the Notes field in Outlook because I am keeping key information there) but they are not very responsive (yet).
Could the issue be resolved in MPE or is this purely a problem of the Huawei Contacts App?
