multisync

Maybe a dumb question, but all I want to do is sync the contacts on my phone with the contacts on my latop. and I want to sync/update BOTH WAYS so when the program finishes, both devices have the exact same information.

How do I set this up?

Is a third program like Outlook or Thunderbird integrated into the synchronization?

If the same data records have been changed on the cell phone and on the PC, a conflict will arise. The MPE contact is preferred.

In any case, before such actions, it is important to create backups of the contacts.

The phone is GOOGLE (Android) PIXEL 6, the laptop Windows 11 and Office 365, Outlook.

So they must both start the same?

I choose to "sync both ways"...isn't that what I described I want?

- create backups
- connect your phone to MyPhoneExplorer
- set up the sync in Menu-File-Settings-Sync-Calendar -> set to Outlook
- push the Advanced-Button, check if the right Outlook calendar is selected and set the sync timerange to "Sync all appointments"
- press the sync-button in the calendarview of MyPhoneExplorer (first button in Toolbar)
- MyPhoneExplorer will show you a sync confirmation so you'll see what MyPhoneExplorer wants to create/delete/edit

- MPE => F2 => Sync => Contacts/Sync with => Outlook => Advanced => Outlook folder to sychronise only one local account
"Sync mode" => sync both
"Show conformation windows" ... => activate
- Sync

With 'Outlook folder to syncronise only one local account' I mean that in the mobile phone => MyPhoneExplorer-Client => Settings => Contact-accounts to synconly the one contact account in which your contacts are located may be activated.

With 'Show conformation windows' ... => activate a conformation window is opened during the sync, in which you can control and adjust everything.

Important!
I still advise to make a backup before the first sync:
- From Outlook: PST-Datei
- From Phone: MPE => Extras =>Create backup
