Problems to download pictures

Hello,

I always used Wifi to connect with MyPhoneExplorer, at home with my Wifi network and when travelling, with the Wifi network of hotels, including last year in the hotel I am staying now.

I am now in the same hotel as last year in Greece and connection with wifi has often problems with error messages. The Wifi is good though, and I have no problems with my phone or my pc.

I switched to USB connection but I cannot download pictures. There are now 52 pictures in the camera folder of my mobile and anytime MyPhoneExpolrer connects, a message says 52 pictures are being downloaded, all pictures,including those that were already downloaded s3veral months ago, and not only new ones. The progression rukw shows 1 out of 52...2 out of 52... etc.. 52 out of 52 (I have of course other pictures on my phone in folders which are not synchronized)

But if I check on my PC, no picture is downloaded, neither the old ones nor the new ones.

What can I do to sole these problems, Wifi connexion and downloading pictures with wifi connection and USB connection?

The problems you describe have nothing to do with the type of connection (USB/Wlan).

Quit MPE and then put the following entry in the general.ini:
FixPhotoSyncDate=YYYYMMDD
Thus, all photos before the YYYYMMDD are not transferred and the PhotoSync.dat is recreated

Please check the setting MPE => F2 => Advanced 2 => Folder for Photo-sync

I did as you said with FixPhotoSyncDate=20230720 in the [Main] section of general.ini

This entry did not exist before, so is its creation only to recreate PhotoSync.dat and this entry is no longer needed once it has been recreated ?

As for the pictures, it was my fault. The path was no longer valid. It was on a encripted volume P: which no longer exists. Sorry for that. Wouldn't it be better to have an error message in that case, telling the folder doesn't exist ?

Everything works now.

I had another problem with the time zone. Now I am on UTC + 2:00 Athens-Bucarest.

Before I was on UTC + 1:00Bruxelles, Copenhague, Madrid,Paris

MyPhoneExplorer changed several entries in my calendar which span a whole day. An example :
A person whose birthday is 12/03/1954 was changed to 11/03/1954 at 23:00 - It is correct but it looks very strange as for birthdays.

An event from 21/07/2012 till 03/08/2012 now is from 21/07/2012 at 01:00 till 04/08/2012 at 01:00

Yes, that's a one-time process!

I cannot reproduce the problem with the time difference for all-day appointments
If you haven't already, please install...
1. The latest MPE client version 3.1 on the cell phone
2. MyPhoneExplorer 2.0

Of course you always have to restart MPE after the time change on the PC!
