Ever since I switched to GrapheneOS, the birthdays will no longer sync. If I look in outlook, the birthdays are all present, If I look in MPE on my computer, All the birthdays are present but they will simply not copy over to the calendar. I even tried the manual option in MPE by digging into the contact and selecting the tab "other" then checking the box that says "save birthday in calendar" Again the birthday is clearly visible right above that option to be checked too. Nothing I do seems to copy over the birthday to the calendar.
My setup:
Pixel 7
GrapheneOS
Calendar is = Business Calendar 2 Planner

GrapheneOS and Birthdays will not sync

Do I understand you correctly that only the birthdays are not displayed?
All other appointments arrive on the cell phone ?!
Which calendars are enable: Phone => MPE-Client => Settings => Calendars-accounts to sync aktiviert ?
Which calendars are enable: MPE => F2 => Sync => Events and Task / Sync with => Advanced => Outlook folder to sychronise ?

Correct

"Local Calendar" it's the only option and it's checked
Which calendars are enable: MPE => F2 => Sync => Events and Task / Sync with => Advanced => Outlook folder to sychronise ?
All 3 options (Contacts, events and notes) are all "Outlook" and under events / tasks I click advanced and have:
Sync events (checked)
Folder to sync (checked outlook/calendar)
Sync tasks (checked)
Folders to sync (Outlook/tasks)
Sync Mode (Sync Both)
Time Period (Sync all events)
Show confirmation window before mpe makes any changes (checked)
Show if there are 1 or more changes
Again never a problem with this setup using a samsung phone with everything being the same. The minute I switched to Graphene OS, only the birthdays fail to sync.

Yeah, all that was already good. However I found a solution, not really sure why or how this works. Hope the community can use this as a take away.
So apparently the AOSP contact version that comes on stock android (aka grapheneos) does NOT have a birthday field in any way shape or form! You need to first install an app called "birthday adapter" it then sucks in all the birthday information that IS attached to each contact but has no where to display them and creates a new "local birthday calendar". Then inside my calendar I simply add that new bday calendar as a second calendar and boom, they display fine in my main one. So MPE is rock solid, not your issue at all, and have been syncing fine all along - thank you however for responding to this and I hope this helps out others
