Every time I go to connect to my PC to phone it fails, getting an unable to detect/find the phone. Tried a couple things and found, the resolution each time is to do a 'restart' of the phone, then connects fine.
...this is on the Windows app, when I click to connect and sync Contacts or Files.
Am using a SamSung S23+ android phone and Windows 10 PC.
I connected via WiFi - have done so for years.
Only connect once or twice a week to copy photos from phone and sync contacts. Each initial connection attempt fails.
Seems to have started early this year maybe after an update.
I do restart my phone once or twice a week anyway, outside this process, and don't add/remove apps often on my phone, so phone in general is not having often system changes or such. |

Please try to establish the connection as follows:
- Activate MPE on mobile
- With the MPE started, press the F1 (Connect) button
Does it work then? |

With the Samsung S7 it was working perfect, but with older Software - Versions ... |

Thanks for the reply - to activate MPE on the phone first.
Have tried that a couple times over weeks and does not resolve issue.
Last couple months, to connect with MPE I have to always 'restart' my phone before attempting to connect. Not cold boot the phone, simple restart the phone. I even tried to restart the PC system instead, no luck.
Appears this is on the phone side.
As note, I am connected to home WiFi normally and without issue, when I leave and come back home. Thus seems the WiFi link is working itself.

Please also reastart the WiFi Router, this can make also the problem.
If it does not help then send me the logfile via email directly after you tried to connect. |

How do I get the LOG file you requested?
And how do I send it to you directly? (direct email?) |

You will find the button email at the bottom of one of FJ's posts and also => Impressum
You can find the Debug.txt in your MPE database folder
- Windows Start Menu (Run) => input %appdata%\my
otherwise
- Look MPE=> F2 => Advanced 2 => Database |
