appointments list problem

I'm looking at my appointments list, and I have a problem with how the columns are displayed: the location column is very wide and thus the time column is very far to the right, not visible unless I scroll very much to the right. I have tried to minimize the location column, but it won't. This is new. Please help.

I can't reproduce your problem?!
If you haven't already done so, install the MPE Standard Version 2.2

Otherwise try to change the order of the columns:Click on the column name => Drag and Drop

I've tried drag and drop previously.
And now I tried again, and lost the time column completely...
Right xxx on the upper bar does not reveal any menu or anything.
I've been using ver 2.2 since Nov 24
I'll reinstall it. Didn't help...
Is there a newer version?

1. Exit MPE
2. Open the file settings.dat using an editor. This is located in a subfolder of the MPE database directory. Find the line containing the entry "GridEvents="Replace the contents of the line =>

how to find the MPE database directory?

Open the Windows explorer.
Enter %appdata%\MyPhoneexplorer into the Windows explorer's address line and press return.
The Windows explorer will now show a directory with one ore more directories, one for each phone configured in MPE as user.
Go to the appropriate directory.
There you will see file settings.dat

But, as I wrote previously, on Sep 27, I lost the "time" column after dragging and dropping again.

How can I recover that column?

After a new installation, my columns looked like this:

With the following entry in the settings.dat :

Thanks, but the problem still exists, with a variaton.

I uninstalled MPE
I then downloaded the installer and installed again
I opened MPE
This time, something new happened:
I'm in the calendar, and press the "appointments list". For a second, all the columns appear. But then they disappear and I am left with Appointment, Location, and Additional, as before.
The same happens if, in calendar, I enter a word in the search box: the appointments page opens for a second with all columns, and then only the above 3 columns
