Updating to the latest version after having used an older one for a while, i notice that the programme now has system wide hotkeys (such as CTRL+F5 and CTRL+F6) that will call on a function of MyPhoneExplorer even when you're in another programme.
Is this intentional? Because 1) this isn't documented anywhere in the menus or options
and more seriously
2) I can't find a way to turn this feature off. I'm sure it can be handy if you want it (and esp. if you could customize the hotkeys yourself). But it's in fact rather annoying when the hotkeys also have a different function in another programme that you're running: running MyPhoneExplorer now blocks out the hotkeys in *those* programmes.
So kudos for including this feature -- but could we also get a way to switch this off, please? |

Excellent, that's really nice. Thanks a lot. I think it's time to give some attention to that Paypal reminder.
Incidentally: what's the reason that the Beta wants to contact a series of IP-addresses? Is it reporting back user data or are you preparing adware-functionality or something like that? |

Hello,
i think it´s the new function called "auto-update".
At startup the program tries to connect to a server, to look for a new version.
You can disable this in the "options"-dialogue.

MPE connects to internet ? There are two functions which connect to internet:
• Clocksync with internet
• Searching for a newer version
If you have deactivated the update-check then nothhing connects to internet. If yes, then please telle me the IP's and with which app you've logged it. MPE never will contain adware ! |

Yes it must have been the update function. After I disabled that, my firewall showed no signs of MPE connecting to the internet anymore. Thanks for clearing that up and sorry for having caused the confusion. |
