Hi FJ,
Im using MPE1.6.6 and request one feature - When we send a sms to multiple recipients in phone(without MPE) then each of the recipients name is stored (asssociated with that sms). But this is not possible in MPE. Only the first recipinets name is stored. I wish this feature(storing each of the multiple recipients ) be incorporated into the already excellent software.
3 cheers again for this wonderful pacakage!
Savanth. |

Sorry - technically not possible. I can store only PDU's (the sourcecode of a sms) on the phone and its not possible to define multiple recipients in one PDU. |

Hm, I'm sending SMS to multiple recipients through MPE but only 1 is stored, also only 1 recipient is showing in the To-column in MPE.
I can remember that this has worked before. |

No, it never worked. MyPhoneExplorer does send the messages to all recipients, but the copy in "Sent messages" can hold only one recipient. cause of this only the first recipient gets stored. |

Hm... I though I've seen it create copies of the same SMS with all the diffrent recipients, but maybe not.
Then I'm wondering why it doesn't do exectly that now if one SMS only can hold one recipient? |

The interface from phone to external software is solved with PDU-Code. Its a standarized format which handles the way how SMS-Messages go through the air. And its also defined that only one recipient can be set there. |

Yes, that's understood.
But why doesn't MPE store multiple SMS's with all the diffrent recipiens (localy?) for logging purposes? |

Cause the local database is also PDU-Based and besides this i don't like it when the data between MyPhoneExplorer and the phone are not the same. |
