The export is working properly for me and contains all data in all possible formats. |

It would be great, if i could export all messages (delivered and sent) as conversation by date and time |

Yes. The export options are very limited, indeed.
Actually vieweing options are limiteed too. You just can't view all messages at once (received, sent, archived) in one view and filter them using filters by date and content. A pity.... it would make the software greatest. |

As you should already know it's technically not possible to read the date/time of sent messages from the phone. So how should MPE "detect" if one message was sent before or after another one? |

You missed the point.
The time/date can be entered manually. It can also be set while sending sms using PC. Most people don't smschat using phone directly but using pc with bluetooth. The messages without time/date set could be excluded from the export in that export mode. |

A simple replace word/shorten word function with user defined word list, that will shorten your sms length. Like replacing all "you" with "U" etc.
Another suggestion - a button in the "send sms" dialog that would prevent you from sending a sms that's 161 chars long (or 321 chars - etc) if u check it. It would prevent mistakes of sending unnecessary, mostly empty, messages. |

1) There is already a shorten-function in it but it does not work with a wordlist like you suggested. Cause this feature would be diffrent on every language it does not make sense. The message can be shortened with CTRL+K - as described in the FAQ
2) you get already a baloontip directly besides the cursor when you reach the second message. |

That's where the word list comes in. Everybody could configure their own words. The configuration windows would have two columns - the orginal word, and the shorten word: you|u, forever|4ever, etc.

Yes, I've seen the balloontip, but sometimes you are are in a hurry and does not see it/aren't looking at the screen.. and because of that you sending the extra unnecessary message.
I understand that you want to keep a clean interface and not clutter it with functions that's hardly used, but think about it and maybe you could integrate it somehow else... |

Hello,
at first I'd like to thank you for a great piece of software! The only think I'm missing at all is a column "Title" (e.g. MSc., Ph.D.) in the Contact list. It would be useful for complete export of contacts via Word/Excel/HTML/... in "Extras > Current list" option. It's the only one not included item.
Thank you,
Tibor |

I know, but the title can be showed if you change the Name-Format in the settings |

Well, thanks, I didn't notice this. Nevertheless, as you said, the single column is still missing
Maybe there is one another thing you could improve. I'd appreciate separated columns for items of both addresses (Street, Postcode, City, State, Country). It could be analogous to "Name = First name + Last name" items: there would be 2 basic columns with the whole address and 2x5 optional columns for the particular items of the addresses (Street, Postcode, ...).
Further there could be some "Display format for addresses" in "Advanced 1" settings.
Bye,
Tibor |

I dont think that these things are really needed. If you want seperate colums for each field you can use also the CSV-Export |

I've noticed a minor issue with the text being a little weird in the Settings, Multi-Sync window:

Looks OK on my computer. Perhaps font related. But just open English.lng in Notepad and change 'MyPhoneExplorer' on that line to 'MPE'. Perhaps that'll do the trick. |
