Hi, tried to search, but not all that many matches on "Gadget SMS"..

When using the vista sidebar gadget to send an SMS (which calls up MPE) - would it be possible to display on the gadget the # of SMSses required to send this message? or at least the char count? (in MPE you have that info, and you have to split SMSes anyway.. and ignoring UCS2 encoding it should be fairly trivial I suppose?)

Now I have to back-arrow/count all the time to check if I am still within 160 chars.. (or 302, or wherever the next split is..)

I routinely move SMS messages from Inbox (of MPE) to Archive (on computer) by right-click and select "Move to archive". On occasion (perhaps once every 20 messages or so), the message disappears completely. There is no warning. Once it is gone, it is gone. I assume this is a bug but it happens randomly as far as I can tell. I am certain that I have not clicked Delete in the context menu; I have lost enough messages to be absolutely certain that I am indeed selecting the Move to Archive option.

Would it be possible to either fix this bug or at least offer a copy to archive function or some sort of recycle bin where deleted messages go for a period of time like many other apps do? At least, until the bug is fixed... I am working around this by exporting the messages first.

I am on version 1.7.4. Thanks for great software!

Please create a new thread about this problem - it does not have anything to do with feature wishes.

How many messages do you have in the archive ? Would it be possible that they are just on another place (cause missing timestamp) ? Please use the filter-feature to find a missing message in the archive. Please note that MPE does not copy duplicates into archive.

Hi FJ,

The feature wish was for a recycle bin type of function to store deleted SMSs for a time. My apologies for mis-posting though. Will raise the bug topic in a separate thread.

You can create the holidayfile with this tutorial. If its working and you tested the file in MPE for some years then you can send me the file via email and i will add it to the Setup

Press the Delete key to delete selected Calls in the various Calls lists. Same functionality as right-click and selecting delete.

Hi FJ,

I'm using P1i, but no delivery report option available in SMS page. It different if I use another phone (K530), which we can set delivery report option. Second thing that I've plan to upgrade to Satio but deferred waiting for PME support. It would be great if next version support Satio phone.

The delivery-option is hidden for Symbian-Phones cause it does not work. I am working for Satio-Support but its more difficult thzan expected

You might want to consider adding support for caller groups. I cannot add a contact in a caller group or a contact folder in my P1i. I think it would be appreciated from a lot of P1i users.

I did already take a look at caller-groups. Its technically not possible

@pumpurum: To make the gris sortable by incoming/outgoing it would be needed to rebuild the whole list. I'll make a compromise for the next version: If the Receipent or Textfilter begins with ">" or "<" Then it will display only incoming/outgoing messages.

When I want to add/edit a contact, MPE freezes and exits out. Then when I open the software again, I see that all of the changes which I've made during the last session (like appointments in the calendar) are gone with the wind! (BTW: those changes which I hadn't the chance to sync them). I had the same problem with the last version.
