No notification for new SMS - HTC ThunderBolt

I never get a notification for new SMS, I have to manually hit "download entire" to get the SMS when i hear my phone vibrate.

I am using HTC Thunderbolt but it also failed in my HTC Incredible.

I am using version 1.8.0 as 1.8.1 did not work for me.

Doesnt you pc notify you, after you get a SMS (text message)?

it does not - i have to manually retrieve messages.

this is odd. What connection are you using?

Maybe connect your phone, wait for a SMS to come in, save the debug log and send it to FJ!

We need the log directly after the sms arrived on phone (and MPE was connected). Do you use any SMS-Replacements like Handcent SMS ?

the message never gets to the application until I manually hit "Donwload Entire" I use ChompSMS - But I have also used the default application; same results.
